Mrs. Opiyo holds a bachelor degree in Environmental Science with IT and a diploma in Occupational Health and Safety NEBOSH. She is registered by National Environment Management Authority(NEMA) as an expert. She has gained 7 years’ experience in the environment, health and safety field while working with four different firms in Kenya.
Ms. Opiyo is in the forefront to ensure environment, safety and health best practices are embraced by the firms she works with. It is in this conquest that she has equipped herself with vast knowledge and skills on occupational safety and health; legislations, risk assessment, auditing, management and training. In addition, she prides herself with knowledge and skills on environmental impact assessment and auditing, environmental risk assessment and environmental laws and policies. Mrs. Opiyo is capable of implementing and imparting individuals with the same knowledge and skills to offer solution based approaches to a myriad of a firm’s activities thus achieving environmental sustainability and a safe working culture. Currently she is serving as a Senior Health & Safety Advisor at Senior Environmental & Engineering Limited..
