Environmental Monitoring Technician
Minimum Qualification Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Science/Environmental Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry or any other related.
- At least one year experience in the same work
- QSTI Certified at least Group 1.
- Computer and Environmental Monitoring software literate
- Valid Driving License.
- Knowledge of Swahili/English/French will be added advantage
- Fit to work and ability to work at height.
Job Description.
- Perform Stack Emission Testing, Noise survey, Water sampling and Environmental data collection.
- Work with Environmental Department and Health and Safety Department on daily tasks.
- Assist in gathering process data and analyzing for report submittal to regulatory agencies.
- Assist with regulatory inspections required by state environmental agency.
- Work with environmental staff to implement environmental tracking and reporting.
- Follow and adhere to all safety training and company practices.
- A willingness to embrace new skills in the above mentioned areas and apply them in a practical context is considered prerequisite.
- Assistance with maintenance and calibration of environmental department equipment.
- Assistance with maintenance of Health and Safety and Quality standards within ISO 17025 quality management systems.
